Eddy Fernandez

My name is Eddy Fernandez and I am a  portrait photographer based in Miami and New York City.

I have been so fortunate to have traveled the world as a professional dancer for the majority of my twenties. I danced with Momix Dance company. They are incredible, look them up :)  I feel like a won the lottery in that aspect of my life. I naturally picked up a camera to document my adventures around the world.  So, began my love with photography.

As a photographer I really enjoy photographing people. We humans are so dynamic and full of nuance. I strive with photography to capture those excruciatingly beautiful and fleeting moments that flash across all of our faces and bodies. I also love that this art form is born from collaboration, as it is in dance.  It's through an investment in each other and an unwavering push for perfection that we create honest art.
